I am trying to install fbsd 2.1.7 on a pentium pro system with an ide cdrom. Thus far I have been unanble to have it recognize the cdrom whatsoever. The only way I have been able to utilize the cdrom is in the preinstallations staged when running setup through dos. I have been unable to get the atapi.flp boot disk to work.. I have also tried to utilize the setup program that transfers all of the files to free space on the drive then install it from there. This too has failed. I was able to get the system to boot earlier, but there is no login involved or anything I only get a # prompt. Any guidance would be appreciated. Adam
