It's difficult to say. I'd guess that you've done something wrong that you haven't reported (and probably haven't noticed). Both the man page and http://www.vinumvm.org/vinum/how-to-debug.html give you a list of information to supply if you have problems. Got through that and you may find the problem by yourself.
