Do I still need to recompile the kernel if I'm running 2.2.6 and want to make my USR PCMCIA modem to work? I hate touching my kernel, but I've got the FreeBSD book and it seems pretty painless. Is the source code available as a package somewhere? I'm much more familiar with Linux kernels...
