I'd suggest reading the handbook, though I'm not sure how much there is to document about it. Make sure you have the fd device(s) in your kernel. Make sure dmesg shows the box recognizing it. Pop in a floppy disk and mount it to a dir you've made for it. It's not exactly quality documentation, but it's a point in the right drection. -Otter }-----Original Message----- }From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG }[mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of }brian william }wolter }Sent: Saturday, November 25, 2000 10:13 PM }To: questions@FreeBSD.ORG }Subject: floppy drive } } }can anyone point me towards some documentation regarding }adding a floppy }drive under FreeBSD 4.1? i don't have much experience working with }hardware, etc. any help would be appriciated. } }thanks. } }peace, }brian } } } t h e S a d M a c h i n e . o r g } } } } }To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org }with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
