https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D226105 Bug ID: 226105 Summary: editors/libreoffice: LibreOffice uses excessive CPU with document open Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: office@FreeBSD.org Reporter: kevinz5000@gmail.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(office@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: office@FreeBSD.org LibreOffice uses excessive CPU with documents open, even if it's a blank document, no matter what program it's in (Writer, Calc, etc.) 'top' shows soffice.bin active on the CPU most times; one would expect it t= o be in a wait state. 'Excessive' because when you open a model dialog in LibreOffice, the excess= ive CPU consumption ceases. For instance, Help -> About LibreOffice opens a mod= al dialog, and as long as it's open CPU usage is minimal.
