Why the heck do you assume some random port on a -network- card would have
anything to do with mice?

It looks like one of the cards in the picture is an appletalk card.

Actually providing a scaned picture of the component side of the card
would have been more useful.

Plugging random stuff into unknown cards is a good way to let the magic
smoke out.
