Maybe. I use Linux WordPerfect, Netscape, and Wingz binaries all the
time. Alegro Common Lisp from Franz, on the other hand, doesn't seem
to want to work. YMMV.

CDRecord has been ported to FreeBSD-Current + CAM, and worked with my
CDR drive. YMMV.

I ported SANE to FreeBSD-Current + CAM. It worked with my scanner.
