True. If hints have been MFC'd, then this would be great (I lost
track of if they had or not after getting them into MFC shape and
having Peter rework them, I never got back to the MFC). I agree that
hints are a better mechanism for some things.
I guess what I was really saying was "using some mechanism that uses
loader variables such as hints or TUNABLE."
