I did do test installs this morning on i386, alpha, and sparc64 with all these patches. Mostly what all this does is make sysinstall be a bit more multi-arch aware. Before we were doing things like allowing alpha users to enable APM, or sparc64 users to turn on linux compat, etc. Some existing concerns are that currently sysinstall doesn't let Alpha install compat3x. Also, Alpha doesn't currently support booting from UFS2, but the fix is only a one-line makefile tweak for which I am awaiting re@ approval. -- John Baldwin <>< http://www.FreeBSD.org/~jhb/ "Power Users Use the Power to Serve!" - http://www.FreeBSD.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
