Hello. If I use FreeBSD, do I get an IP address? Is there a way to upload to an IP address that you have been assigned from a windows 95 web page publishing program? I really don't understand the FreeBSD system... I've read the information, and I still don't understand... the main thing I need is an IP address... If I can get one, is there a way to give it an address like domain.com? I really do not want to get into learning a new Operating system... all I want is an IP address, and I want to know how to upload to it. If you can help explain this to me, and show me how to do it, PLEASE RESPOND. I would appreciate it greatly.
