The systems are FreeBSD 3.3, with ssh (or openssh, the problem
occurs with both) from ports as of about a week ago.

I'm on machine X and do

ssh -v -f Y netscape

Everything proceeds nicely (according to debugging) until

X11 connection uses different authentication protocol:
	'MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1' vs. ''.

(one line) and, of course, netscape doesn't run. As a matter of
fact, this fails if X and Y are the same machine. It's not an
obvious authentication failure; it happens after xhost +.

Any clues?
