I want to setup a secondary server which will automatically update itself
from the primary server. Like making a copy of the main server hard drive.
So in case of the primary server fails, I can unplug the network cable
from the primary server and plug it into the secondary server. Everything
keeps running.

setting:
FreeBSD 3.0
same hardware configuration for the primary and second server
secondary can mount any the server partitions
ethernet 100Mbp

Can i use cpio or tar to do that?
Can you give me a example?

Thank you
