Interesting.  Remember one of my mails from yesterday: i've got the
same problem when using MFS.  Maybe an incident...

For me, it happened after a previous attempt to dd(1) into a particular
file in MFS suddenly aborted with ``dd: filename: Bad address''.
Trying to dd to the same file again triggered the dup alloc.
