The UART chip is on board the modem (ISA slot is used). It is configured to COM1 as is said in the DOS world and the COM1 on the motherboard is disabled by jumper. I've not found documentation to deal with this situation. I sure would appreciate any helpful suggestions! Thanks, Dan Auman
