Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk Well, after many more hours of hard work, kernelconfig.sgml is finally finished (all 34K of it)! I hope it is as good as that new Printing chapter I hear so much about. The copy is available at: http://cs.sci.csupomona.edu/~jehamby/handbook/kernelconfig.sgml I know this is short notice, but please proof it and put it in 2.1.0, I'm sure it will be a good resource for new FreeBSD users. It documents EVERY commonly-used device, including SCSI, Network, and sound cards, and a few cool miscellaneous devices too. One note: on line 453, I make a reference to the printing chapter which needs to point to the Printing chapter. Also, the appropriate line for authors.sgml is: <jehamby@lightside.com>"> Sorry for being so late, but fortunately I'm not the only one making last-minute changes, so maybe I can be excused this time! :-) Again, PLEASE put this in 2.1.0, it's really hot! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jake Hamby | E-Mail: jehamby@lightside.com Student, Cal Poly University, Pomona | System Administrator, JPL ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
