I screwed up here. Apparently USE_DISPLAY has spontaneously stopped working, and I hurried to correct the 'mistake' without reading the emails properly. Sorry for the noise here, I know I've got it wrong, and I'll have to look tomorrow when I have time-- I've not broken anything more than it was before :/ Chris
