I'm butting in with just a thought:  now that dmesg
finds the card, what's in /dev that corresponds?

"/dev/ad0 Invalid argument" is what I think I've gotten
before with mount_msdosfs ... it wanted to mount a slice
IIRC ... like "/dev/ad0s1" or "/dev/ad0s1d"
