Is there any way to temporarily re-enable it at boot time? I see hw.ata.wc, but it is read-only. I only want to use the write cache when running stand-alone and using dd to copy my hard drive. I've checked the man pages and the release notes and I don't see anything. Thanks, R. Kevin Oberman, Network Engineer Energy Sciences Network (ESnet) Ernest O.
