Hello folks, Gcc has a "-m486" option that may be used to generate code optimized for 486 instead of 386. However, I don't trust Intel in any way, and I'm not sure that the 486-optimized code will run faster that the 386-optimized one on a Pentium II. Does anybody know about this question? -- JM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Jose M.
