"sounds" as a dma problem. I would check your system to make sure that other peripherals (e.g. the parallel port) are not using DRQ1, and also the bios setting to make sure that DRQ1 and 3 are assigned to the PnP card(s). cheers luigi interrupt line, and also "> > I am using the pcm driver to configure my Crystal CS4237 card.
