During the compile process it falls over. However, on 2.2.2 it compiles fine. I thought that I would install the C compiler from my 2.2.2 CD (2.7.2.1) on the 2.1.6 system. However, when I had a look at the 2.2.2 CD all I could see was the 2.6.3 compiler. Can someone tell me how to install gcc2.7.2.1 from the 2.2.2 CD? It would be much appreciated. Thanks, Hugh Blandford.
