I might put that down as a useful runtime addition. However right at the moment there is not much to do, as Robert now has his pppd insisting on a MRU or 296, so Max1.mackay.aone.net.au is using that as an MTU on his interface. This is shown by John Capo's message. Robert, you might like to try upping your MRU to see how big you can make it before things stop working. Danny
