A vendor who is reliable should be rewarded with my continued business as well as the business of those I come into contact with (ie referral business). Unfortunately I have not yet found such a vendor, but I suspect many on this list have. I have no desire to blacklist anyone, but I think vendors who provide a quality service should be recognized. Aside from the list of hardware vendors listed at http://www.freebsd.org/commercial/hardware.html who seem to be more than average "pieces-n-parts" vendors, would it be feasible for someone to maintain a list of pc vendors that all of us can refer to? I know this would be work for someone to maintain, but I think it would benefit both the FreeBSD community and the vendors who serve us well. If this has already been done, pardon my ignorance.
