Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk A friend of mine has offered to sell me a SCSI adapter at an excellent price. But I'm unsure of whether FreeBSD supports it. Hopefully you folks on the list can help me out. He identifies the board as a Western Digital 7193 FAST SCSI-2 host adapter, PCI. The chip on the board is marked as "33c296a". Is FreeBSD compatible with this unit? (any version of FreeBSD, I don't care if it's 3.0, CURRENT, etc.) Or, failing that, does anyone know if Linux supports it? (I have a second server here running Linux, which I wouldn't mind having a SCSI adapter on) Please respond by e-mail if possible. Thanks!
