I then sup'ed stable, built a new kernel and installed it. With the new kernel the last thing it displays is changing root device to sd0a and sits there forever. The numlock light still responds. The hardware is: P5-90 PCI Neptune 32MB NCR 810 HD controller 2 4GB drives trident cheap VGA lnc1 type ethernet controller on irq5, drq5. Any ideas what has gone wrong? -- Brian Litzinger Powered by FreeBSD http[s]://www.mpress.com
