I can not get out to the net from my FreeBSD box. But my NT and win95 boxes work fine. What am I missing? The ms-proxy server only proxies the http, ftp, gopher protocols (not sure about telnet) Do I need to change ifconfig some how? I have an env var set up as HTTP_PROXY=10.1.33.46:80 I thot that sock5 would take care of it but to no avail. ms-proxy doesn't do socks. - hey it doesn't even do windows very well either ;-) I have no control over the proxy server. Thanks in advance. Dale == --------------------------------------------- Dale Phillips dkph@yahoo.com _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
