Screen can resize dynamically if the term program works correctly. That said, screen and the relationship to the termcap is always a royal pain. I use tcsh and I always throw something in my .tcshrc to detect for the TERM environment variable value for screen and blow away TERMCAP if it finds it. if ($term == "screen") then unsetenv TERMCAP endif Syntax will be different for other shells. - -- Andy Harrison public key: 0x67518262 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: http://firegpg.tuxfamily.org iD8DBQFHWC5bNTm8fWdRgmIRArQ0AJ4ugxEkyarWyA+lxbHmHz6ZI4hFcwCeJ3yT SBWUaohWiTdTOMrebgtWP+M= =P/Ve -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
