Autonegotiation is failing between your card and this hub. Specify "mediaopt 100baseTX" as part of the ifconfig options, as in: ifconfig_vr0="inet 192.168.42.1 netmask 0xffffff00 mediaopt 100baseTX" in /etc/rc.conf. -- "Where am I, and what am I doing in this handbasket?"
