I'd like to get FreeBSD Release-2.2.7 installed on a server that has an
AdvanSys ABP-940U PCI host adapter.

Unfortunately, the AdvanSys is supported only through the CAM package.

How do I get FreeBSD onto this computer?

I was thinking about building a kernel and whatever else is necessary by
first installing to a machine with a supported host adapter (I have a
computer with a Symbios '875 chipset (ncr)), but then I was at a loss as
to how to put the "CAMed" kernel to use to help me install to the AdvanSys
machine.

What do I do?

Thanks.
