As in (re-)adding ~unaudited, unmaintained software to the tree and offer i=

"safe to use" and not moving on to using software which is actively maintai=

and offers functionality that's relevant today? Are you willing to take
responsibility if end users ends up with damages and/or potential data loss
knowing that this is considered bad practice in general?

Do we need a fresh variant of the 4chan hack (or rather underlaying cause(s=
) of
it) for this to be taken into serious consideration?

Nothing stops you from having this in your local ports tree, using overlays
(via Poudriere).
