You mean the default security, daily, weekly, and monthly scripts? Have a look at where they are run out of crontab, $ fgrep periodic /etc/crontab 59 1 * * * root periodic daily 2>&1 | sendmail root 30 3 * * 6 root periodic weekly 2>&1 | sendmail root 30 5 1 * * root periodic monthly 2>&1 | sendmail root You can make some changes here if you don't want to send mail. But it is going to be hard to turn mail off completely everywhere. -- Crist J.
