hello, i have been searching the web hoping to find information about this to no avail. although i have found many docs on how to mount a cdrom, i have not found anything that deals with my error. i would like to mount the cdrom to play audio cds, but am having no luck. i can mount data cds no problem. below you'll see my fstab, df -k, and the error that i get when trying to mount an audio cd. thanx in advance for any help that you could offer. bash-2.03# cat /etc/fstab # Device Mountpoint FStype Options Dump Pass# /dev/ad0s1b none swap sw 0 0 /dev/ad0s1a / ufs rw 1 1 /dev/ad0s1e /usr ufs rw 2 2 /dev/acd0c /cdrom cd9660 ro,noauto 0 0 proc /proc procfs rw 0 0 bash-2.03# df -k Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on /dev/ad0s1a 496111 29564 426859 6% / /dev/ad0s1e 6943134 3827487 2560197 60% /usr procfs 4 4 0 100% /proc bash-2.03# mount_cd9660 /dev/acd0c /cdrom mount_cd9660: Input/output error again, if anyone could help, that would be great. thanx again. -=f=- |||||||| ||||||| ||||||| |||||| ||||| |||| || Francisco J.
