Hi folks, I have a question regarding ppp. I managed to get a link working last night (albeit without DNS, but that's quite OK for now) using the interactive mode of ppp. Then I started to wonder - for using my BSD box as a router to the outside world and doing IP masq-ing, should I be using ppp or pppd? The PPP (ppp pedantic primer) uses ppp, but then a guy who was helping for a bit said "Use a DAEMON. That's what they're there for!" Which is the one I want?
