I don't know what to tell you. I cannot reproduce this. You might try disabling any and all browser plug-ins you have (at least temporarily), then try running it. If that works, try to figure out the bad plug-in. ~ If not, try running Firefox as root once. If it comes up as root, close it out, then try running it again as your user.
