The following reply was made to PR ports/100487; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Christopher Nehren <apeiron+ports@coitusmentis.info> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org Cc: Subject: Re: ports/100487: Update port: irc/p5-POE-Component-IRC 4.93 -> 4.96 Date: Tue, 18 Jul 2006 18:33:23 -0400 --gBBFr7Ir9EOA20Yy Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable On Tue, Jul 18, 2006 at 10:35:47 EDT, Edwin Groothuis scribbled these curious markings: > Maintainer of irc/p5-POE-Component-IRC, >=20 > Please note that PR ports/100487 has just been submitted. >=20 > If it contains a patch for an upgrade, an enhancement or a bug fix > you agree on, reply to this email stating that you approve the patch > and a committer will take care of it. >=20 > The full text of the PR can be found at: > http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=3Dports/100487 Approved. Also, is there any formal way of offering maintainership of a port to anyone who wants to take it? The developer of the upstream software is a bit too XP for me, and I'd like to see someone with a few more round tuits maintain the port. Best regards, Christopher Nehren --=20 I abhor a system designed for the "user", if that word is a coded pejorative meaning "stupid and unsophisticated". -- Ken Thompson If you ask questions of idiots, you get "Joel on Software". Unix is user friendly. However, it isn't idiot friendly. --gBBFr7Ir9EOA20Yy Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFEvWGzk/lo7zvzJioRAr3QAJ9kz31vkJsHHDecmZP1Y7N3D1nQlQCePehz /MmiOTfmnTo2tDGhzm9Ap4Y= =ZLxW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --gBBFr7Ir9EOA20Yy--
