Works fine for me built out of the ports collection.  You need to have
all the latest Gnome bits to get things like Evolution and Nautilus
working:

bonobo-1.0.17
bonobo-conf-0.14
gtkhtml-1.0.0
oaf-0.6.7
ORBit-0.5.12

Make sure you're building evolution-1.0_7.
