I intend to turn IPv6 support on by default for the upcoming curl-7.20.0 update in a couple of days. If anybody has any strong reasons why this should not be done[1], please speak up now :) G'luck, Peter [1] I mean, besides the obvious "one more DNS query and a failed connect() call" - too many other applications have done this by default for the past five, if not ten, years, and there's a growing number of instalations (well, okay, still a minority, but still...) where the connect() call will *not* fail :) --=20 Peter Pentchev roam@ringlet.net roam@space.bg roam@FreeBSD.org PGP key: http://people.FreeBSD.org/~roam/roam.key.asc Key fingerprint 2EE7 A7A5 17FC 124C F115 C354 651E EFB0 2527 DF13 This sentence would be seven words long if it were six words shorter. --45Z9DzgjV8m4Oswq Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.14 (FreeBSD) iQIcBAEBCgAGBQJLp08VAAoJEGUe77AlJ98Ton0P+wVpSZXoL/wbPZ9XVRdQj6FE BzlQgvrfB7DzqLAe8ryGmS/1n5aFzvUW/n29Zpp2VHSi96qd70ugalRwxyE/oKwF f4QQa54SgxijuORbjokOIyGiea+v7QluKVh8TBFoennRSj/95fOcF4Zk2xRQTCvL axwoCCeI7gZihOYFPrfXh+COUdlGJRSMXISUKoTLFjXfmC9m4s4/nINXvb6n3bDg Ak98zVQyPz69/iQQ4iVeqt1vLa40/5qfx1vf4C7c7L9oyqsOFDoP+w3Zkn4gqDnh WnI9ov2BllmCDsnhUIxyBIlii53/cYdGTxPtQouZ6i+8woS0oAqFUycJoKdTf+D3 hfwgUN9z4aOGdfKSP4CBVnWPO5qX9X5AsQ/U0fcwdb8DXaL7hXVt7bK1jB/9veYu k9OoZrUy04TGkZVcndCNvHjkJKT2+q2OyLW29um4s6c/+IwB6Jw2EmoKHYpOTmKi Pdzw9ZbSUVDpfez70aFfTgyg5VRH2c7SLLxzG/kvkcYAYvpoDAXzyW0s1YlJxAug ewtKp+TkxnKkZMAZx0RpbrBS7okVaH2eEKON5ksnE7sMbn3GXxnJ+qmob64Qyzaw GvRvFFDGo7mUikm41ZEPdI3P4jsnYpCa690WxxDFjnBR9+tgy0QnO2vDe9OIZghn y8FZSYgUnRiB2TbJyjj2 =R7V2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --45Z9DzgjV8m4Oswq--
