OK. I wasn't really sure when it's appropriate to use <literal>, so I just
used <quote> instead, since that's how I would format it in plain text.

I didn't really think emphasis was right, but I thought filename was even
less right, and I didn't see a <kernel> tag in the FDP primer :). I guess

OK, that answers my question. This whitespace change was induced by a
content change (that <programlisting> became part of a <listitem>), so I
wasn't sure if it was appropriate or not.
