To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG After reading some of the questions most others post... I realize that my questions seem totally silly in comparison. Imagine in image of 747 and a tricycle juxaposed. My BSD problems seem about that basic when compared to what others require. Even though my questions might seem extremely bland... I do really appreciate all help and guidance I've been given. After having said all that... Why won't my backspace work in pico? ;) I'm serious. I did a fresh install of FreeBSD 4.4 after purging my FreeBSD box of FreeBSD 4.3. Pico now seems to have an emacs like structure... while this is good practice for emacs... I find it a bit inconveniant to do a ^b^d versus using the good ole' backspace yet. I'm a horrible typist (as some might have been able to tell by now) and in configuring the various scripts... use of the backspace key would be a big help. Once again... I'd be very appreciative of any help anyone can give me. -Sameer __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make a great connection at Yahoo!
