hi there,

i have mounted some freebsd (2.5) filesystems on an irix 6.4 sgi
machine.
while i am copying files from local sgi disk to the mounted fs i get
'connection timeouts'. now i installed some sgi patches, nfs bugfixes,
etc. but it still won't work. i heard something about that sgi uses
asynchronous write mode for nfs and tried to compile the kernel with a
NFS_ASYNC option but that didn't help.

any ideas??
