I've also been careful to *not* run "zpool upgrade" on this system as my zroot is geli encrypted, and have been waiting for the all clear to do that. Has anyone else noticed this behavior?  Perhaps I'm missing an option or something - kinda confused here as to what may have changed to cause this to happen.
