Does anyone know how to fix this?? Strange. I just upgraded to 3.0, and my IDE CD-ROM was detected just fine by the generic kernel. Are you using the generic or a custom kernel? Could you tell us a little bit more about your configuration, including which IDE port your drive is connected to and whether or not it's configured as master/slave? -- Conrad Sabatier I'm defending her honor, which is more than she ever did.
