Has anyone besides me installed a fresh copy of 3.4-19991218-STABLE or
3.4-19991219-STABLE from snapshots and rebuilt the kernel. The installs
went without a hitch, but when trying to build a new kernel I got these
errors.

I messed with this all day sunday and was unable to resolve the
problem. I needed to get the machine back on line, so I installed a
copy of 3.3-19991125-STABLE since I had installed this on another
machine with no problems. I installed it, built the new kernel and it
is online :)
Is there something wrong with the kernel source on 3.4 snapshots?
