asus p2b-d* boards: upgrade the firmware, most of the boards get
delivered with an old bios that doesnt set the mptable information the
correct way, so the ap cpu seems to die and other weird stuff. had that
with several p2b-ds boards and they now work like a charm with 3.4 on
dual piii-500 boxes...

same thing with ami megarum ii (cool board by the way when you dont need
to keep your budgets tiny)... always upgrade to the newest firmware or
you got problems detecting the 2nd cpu or even attach 64bit pci cards.
and you wont get it to run with piii's anyway if you dont flash a news
bios since the one that comes in the flash only recognizes pii types.

have fun...

/k
