 This means that you do not have the colors available for whatever
reason... usually another color hogg running at the same time.. things
like xearth, xgal or any other application that may be using all your
colors which, if I remember your other letter, means that possibly you
are running in the 16 color mode. This would be a good time to look at
some of the doc files in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/doc.

 This is just the program using it's own color map and switching as
you move in and out of that window.. it is not a problem and on
systems without room for lots of colors, it allows you to use all 256
for each program.
