Message-ID: <20000826204614.A272@localhost.localdomain> Mail-Followup-To: FreeBSD stable Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.2.5i X-Operating-System: FreeBSD 4.1-STABLE Sender: owner-freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG This is very strange. I've compiled a new kernel and when I mount a CD (mount /cdrom) I get this in syslog: localhost /kernel: cd9660: RockRidge Extension localhost /kernel: RRIP without PX field? Then when I try to cd into /cdrom I get this: david@~ % cd /cdrom /cdrom: Not a directory. What's going on? The only thing I can think of is that I've added DMA support to the kernel. ad0: 12395MB [25184/16/63] at ata0-master using UDMA33 acd0: DVD-ROM at ata1-master using WDMA2 afd0: 96MB [96/64/32] at ata1-slave using PIO0 Any ideas? -- David Kanter To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
