Since I'll have to put up a server with FreeBsd on, I'm shopping for a server pc. I'm considering a Dell PowerEdge 1300 with a pentium III 450, 256 Mb of ram, 9 Gb HD and a DDS3-DAT tape. I would like to know if this configuration is compatible with FreeBsd and if someone on the list had the occasion to install FreeBsd on this machine.
