Thanks to Michael Lucas' article I was prepared and could get you guys a crash dump. You will find it inline just after my signature. My system goes down like this occasionally (about once a month) and it is always during heavy I/O. This time I was rebuilding some code in a personal project and doing a port rebuild for the JDK 1.4 port. Both lean quite hard on the disks. As extra datapoint: the raid set and disks (ar0, ad4 and ad6) are not used at the moment, so they have not contributed to this panic. Also interesting to notice that my mainboard does not reset its memory, so that I have a dmesg for the entire day, not just for this session. If you'd like more information on this crash, please feel free to ask.
