Some recent version of PPP (pre-2.2.2) worked well and still does. >Description: Permanent PPP LL connection starts form /etc/start_if.tun0 but the problem occurs after manual dial as well. If I telnet 127.0.0.1 3000 then after a few different "show" commands I noticed that redial timer (is set to 5 seconds and 999 attempts) is not decremented, PPP just sits at "3 seconds remained until a redial attempt" or alike.
