Hi All,
Have have a Linix RedHat compressed and tarred archive which I want to
uncompress and untar on a FreeBSD 2.2.5 system. However I get the error
"file format incorret" when I try tar -xvzf filename

I have been wondering if I need to enable the Linux emulation in the
rc.conf file for this to work but I am not sure about other
complications on the system.

Any solution is welcome.

Best regards,
